Fido Fest 2021 is scheduled to be held on October 16. Please check back for details.

Join us for Fido Fest at Heritage Park in Flower Mound! Fido Fest is a celebration of dogs that raises funds to support the programs and services of Humane Tomorrow. While we’re planning a day of fun FOR dogs, you don’t need to bring one to enjoy it! You don't want to miss it!

Schedule and Activities

Activity and vendor booths open at 10:00am and close at 1:00pm. While there, enjoy activities, educational booths, and entertainment. Shop our vendor booths, take a selfie with a rescue dog, and more... all while helping homeless animals!

Activities may include:

  • Paw print painting
  • Professional dog photos
  • Face painting
  • Doggie caricatures
  • Dog-themed arts and crafts
  • Doggie kisses booth
  • Doggie ball pit
  • Kiddie bounce house
  • Contests
  • Demonstrations
  • And more!

Check back closer to the event for a full activity list.

In the event of rain, Fido Fest will be held on another date October 30th.

Admission to Fido Fest is free, although there will be a charge for some activities, including the Walk and professional dog photos.

Walk Registration

Join us for our annual 1-mile fun walk! Check back later for registration info.

Early registration for adults is $25 and registration the morning of the event is $30. Registration includes one t-shirt, one dog bandana, an event goodie bag, and one raffle ticket good for walk-exclusive prizes. Each supplemental donation of $10 will receive another raffle ticket.

We want to encourage the next generation to participate in philanthropy so have created a package for kids aged 10 and under. Early walk registration is $15 and the morning of the event is $20. Registration includes one t-shirt and one raffle ticket to enter to win kid-friendly prizes. Children must accompany a registered adult.

Pre-event registration ends on the day before the event, at 5:00pm. After that time, you may register onsite. T-shirt sizes will be guaranteed for those who register at least two days before the event.

Walk sign in and day-of registration begins at 9:00am. Walk starts at 10:00am!

Four-legged companions are welcome but must be leashed and in-control. Limit two dogs per registered adult walker.

Prior to the event, walkers are encouraged to download the Walk for a Dog app (WoofTrax – Walk for a Dog for iPhones and Walk for a Dog: Walking for Animal Shelter Support for Androids) and designate Humane Tomorrow as their rescue/shelter of choice. Use it during the event and receive another raffle ticket. After the event, use it whenever you walk, bike, or run. The more you use it, the more funds you raise for a good cause!

Sponsors and Vendors

This fun-filled day is the social event of the year for dog-loving residents of Flower Mound, Lewisville, and surrounding cities, and our goal is to continue to make it bigger, with more activities and attendees, over the next few years. We hope you will join us in reaching our goal!

Registration for sponsors and vendors, including non-profits, is open. All contributions are tax-deductible as provided by law. Exhibitor space starts for as little as $100! Non-profit/501c3 organizations may have an Exhibitor space for free.

Info for Sponsors/Vendors

Contact us at ffvendors@humanetomorrow.org if you are interested in providing goods or services for in-kind sponsorship recognition. For example:

  • T-shirts (200) or bandanas (50)
  • Advertising/marketing, including graphic design, printing, and ad space
  • Food or drinks
  • Prizes or other items for raffle baskets
  • Craft supplies
  • Event activities or entertainment

The Fine Paw-rint

All dogs attending must be current on all vaccinations including Rabies and DHLPP. Dogs must be on leash, preferably non-retractable. We ask that dogs not have prong or choke collars. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave.

Flower Mound Animal Services will be doing FREE pet registration for town residents. Registering your pet with the town can assist in reuniting your four-legged family member with you in the event it is lost. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please bring proof of a current rabies vaccination in the form of a receipt or vaccination certificate.
